Truth Be Told

Sooner or later everybody dies.

So buckle up, for the world is filled with lies.

Minds infected with hypocrisy,

Women falling prey to misogyny.

We are living in a hell,

Where innocents are paid for the sins they wouldn't even know to spell.

We ought to stop hiding for everyone's lives,

Stop complaining, take a stand

And teach them this, "for it's a blessing to be alive,

There's no one and nothing that can make your life grand.

Except you, everyone knows that's the truth.

For all the things you did for others,

Imagine how your life could have gotten better

If you had done it for yourself.

In the road ahead,

Life will only get tougher

You must be brave,

For this path is filled with haters,

That just want to see you fail,

Don't bother for you are a free soul

For all you have to chase, is your own goal.

Dance in front of them, for they scorn on hearing what you aspire,

Don't fall for them, for they all a bunch of liars.

Chase your dreams, and one day on you, someone shall write a song,

That you'd hear everyone sing centuries long.

And whenever, you feel like giving up,

Get up, scream, for help and for happiness,

For those who believe in you, shall surely help to bring out your best self."
