Blame Game - Part 1

Every day, everywhere, we are reminded that we are living in a society, where people feel that bad happening is common and good happenings are rare.  They say if we are in this world, we must cope with this sadness, cruelty and let the things stay the same and we end up blaming some one or the other without realizing what exactly is the problem.

But, then again, what is the point of letting the world suffer?

Well, there may be a couple of lessons to be learned, but it is cruel to wish for war, isn’t it?

We let our leaders lead into our own downfall, and no one questions until the damage is done. Why is it that even after a couple of millenniums, we fail to achieve world peace?

It is because of the society, we have created. Starting from the education system we’ve built to the political system that operates to lead the country, everyone is at fault. We are taught History, but who writes them? The victor side; they write history based on their perspective. The general public is mostly unaware of the major reasons and major ambitions of the war-heads and they end up suffering every time.

We are taught Geography, yet every country believes, a part of their land was stolen! Um, wasn’t Earth supposed to be a planet and aren’t we supposed to be humans!

We are taught Economics and all other financial related subjects; yet, people end up entering into the world of bribery and corruption. Why does it happen? Because, we let it happen.

With so many things wrong with the education we are provided, it is worth noting, I have not yet touched the worst part of our so called Education system.

“Privatization” Education shouldn’t have been privatized in the first place. The major reason of imbalance of our literacy rate is because of the presence of the Private Education Institutes. Majority of the Private Education Systems have a great background to support them, so they end up acquiring majority of really good professors. Naturally, the institute would require more money for the education they provide as well as to maintain quality, thus the Tution fees and Donations come into place including the “Management Quota”. What? Why?

                EASY MONEY.

Majority of the lower middle class and the poor are limited to the Public schools in the country. While some may get donations from NGO’s and random people, but most of them do not end up getting the education that is needed. I won’t discuss the problems here.

What if the Education Systems were Nationalized?

Well, every parent, be it rich or poor, they’d have to admit their child to the institute nearer to their place, because the quality of education will be equal. (Traffic decreased by an approximate of 25%). Rich parents may end up contributing more to the institutes for better facilities. They’d ask for a report of the progress. So, better teachers will be appointed and training them would be important. No competition for grades among institutions. Everyone gets equal opportunity.

Speaking of competition, it is a major reason of depression among students besides bullying. These both factor play a major role in the students mental health. In our country, most of the education institutes completely ignore the mental health of the students. We literally tell them it’s just in the mind, and ask them to forget about it. No, one can never forget that they are in depression. Students must be taught about their mental health with a better reason, not as a supplementary paper. Here’s where the parents are also responsible. They take this lightly and do nothing about it. I’d suggest the institutions hire an on duty psychiatrist. Parents should stop pressurizing their children to take a career of their choice. Today, I see students of 8th and 9th grade, getting into coaching classes for cracking of papers that they’d most likely be taking 4-5 years in the future. They are kids, for God’s sake. Let them play and enjoy.

If we do not do anything about it soon, our education system may soon lead us to death.

I would love to add more on this sadistic education system, but that’s all for now, I’ll be back by cracking up another system of our society next week.

Until then feel free to check out my motivational posts on my personal blog, wherein I've also discussed the various forms of education that one needs to concentrate on, to have a peaceful life. Thank you for reading.

  1. The bad is always attractive. Education tells us what to do and what not to do. But then, the education system and the content of what is being taught to us is also responsible to a great extent!

    Loved reading this post. Unique.
